We were absolutely delighted with the response of the Twitter community when we went live with Twibbon just a couple of months ago. After a great deal of hard work and testing, we are pleased to announce that Facebook users are now able to ‘Start Something’ with Twibbon! This is great news for Twibbon users, who will be able to integrate this new functionality into their campaign and promote awareness of their brand or cause. Why not spread the word through a ‘Fan Page’, or create a ‘Group’?

Here’s a full run-down of how you can do it.

On every cause page, there is now a new ‘Facebook’ tab. Clicking on this will take users through the quick and easy process of overlaying a Twibbon onto their Facebook profile picture.

The three-step process makes use of ‘Facebook Connect’, a tool familiar to many social networking enthusiasts. This allows Twibbon to safely and securely access your profile picture, and overlay your favourite Twibbon design onto it.
 
Once you login, you will be shown a Preview of your Facebook profile picture. You will also be informed that Twibbon will update your status on your behalf, and that a new photo album called ‘Twibbons’ will be created. When we take you to this album page, you must set the image to be your Facebook profile picture using the ‘Make Profile Picture’ button on the lower right hand side of the screen.
 
And that’s it! Soon, all your Facebook friends will be joining you and adding Twibbons to their profile pictures. Let us know what you think of this in the ‘Comments’ space below.
