We’re teaming up with the lovely people at ITV and asking telly fans to put their remotes to the side for a second to show their support on Twitter and Facebook for their favourite soaps in the biggest event of the year!

To vote for either one, all you need to do is click on the relevant Twibbon, wear it with pride on your social networking profiles – there are different versions for Twitter and Facebook – and you’ll be taken to the voting page straight away!

As well as the much-prized ‘Best British Soap’ category, you’ll notice that loads of your favourite actors and actresses are up for awesome awards like ‘Villain of the Year’, and they can’t win without your support! So get voting and spread the word:
