NOH8 Campaign is a fantastic artistic initiative protesting against the ruling of Proposition 8, which amended State constitution in California in 2008 to ban same sex marriage. The campaign is based around photographing thousands of celebrities, politicians and everyday folk with their mouths taped shut, and this has become hugely symbolic and instantly recognisable all over the web.

This campaign is all about building awareness through great photography and a compelling social media presence. On Myspace, Facebook and Twitter you can find them working hard to raise awareness of their important cause. Which, of course, eventually brought them to Twibbon, where they’ve launched their own Custom Campaign, and it’s going splendidly, having already passed the 5,000 mark.
