The inaugural Twibbon Premiership was a closely fought contest throughout the season, with the lead changing hands no fewer than 5 times before a late surge by Manchester city supporters snatched the crown. This victory should help soothe some of the pain endured finishing a disappointing 5th place in the Barclays Premier League.

Meanwhile, Liverpool had a slightly more successful season online thanks to their fans, finishing a respectable 3rd. Premier League champions Chelsea finished 5th, as Bolton, Burnley and Wigan fans brought up the rear.

An incredible 8,802 supporters displayed their club's Premier League Twibbon with pride, with the top 6 sides representing a dominant 7,379 of those fans.

More incredibly, the final positions here at Twibbon reflected very closely that of the actual Premier League table. With the exception of West Ham who finished 10 spots above their real life placing, most teams kept within their classification as title contenders, Europe chasers, mid-table survivors, or relegation dogfighters.

Don't like where your team finished in the Twibbon Premier League? Unhappy about being in the relegation zone? Baffled by your 5th placed finish? Get involved and support your team by grabbing their Twibbon at the league table now. In the infamous words of Delia Smith, "Where are you????"

Here on Twibbon, the new season starts now!
