Almost 60,000 of you have made a visual statement in mourning for the West Virginia Miners who passed away just a few days ago on April 5^th 2010. The 25 who have been confirmed dead makes this tragedy, just south of Charleston, the highest toll for a US coal mining disaster since 1984.

The coal mining industry remains a staple for many communities around the area, and sentiments are being echoed all over the country as rescue teams search for four more possible survivors.
