Our Custom Campaign success story this week is the England Cricket Board’s England Cricket World Cup 2011 Twibbon - the second popular Twibbon that ECB Cricket have created!

Only a week into the campaign, and they have already gained an amazing 2,403 supporters, thanks mainly to their self-promotion and stylish twibbon!

Because this was a Custom Campaign and not just a free one, ECB Cricket were able to use additional features to turn their supporters into more Facebook likes.

Their Facebook fan page has gone up by almost 2,000 likes in a week - thanks to the Custom Campaign feature where Facebook users must like your page before adding the Twibbon - as well as the added extra that the ECB Cricket could promote their Facebook page on their Twibbon page.

Because of their early success, the campaign automatically unlocked a Twibute when it reached 250 supporters. This allowed ECB Cricket to invite supporters to find themselves in the Twibute, as well as encouraging even more users to add the Twibbon.

Using the link to his Facebook fan page Ricky’s team increased his Facebook likes from 894,186 to 1,157,185 in just a month!

The Alice Cooper Twibbon was created by a member of Alice’s own team to generally promote Alice Cooper, and reached 1,815 Supporters.

Taking advantage of the Custom Campaign's auto-follow feature, the creator managed to increase their Twitter followers, as you can see below from their Twitter follower stats:

The Wanted

The Wanted Twibbon was created by the boys themselves to encourage their fans to support their Brit Awards campaign for best single.

The campaign proved to be a success reaching 8,609 Supporters. Furthermore, because it was a Custom Campaign, all fans who added the Twibbon were automatically re-directed to the Brit Awards page, making it easy for them to cast their vote.

They also asked their fans to vote for them through their linked Facebook fanpage using the customised status update feature, generating many likes and positive comments:

Promoting Movies using Twibbons!

....or how movie promoters can make the most of Twibbon

Most people love a good movie as do we at Twibbon! But did you know that more movie makers are using Twibbon as part of their marketing plans? Have a look at some of the most successful –

They even got a high profile member of the cast Nick Frost to add the Twibbon which helped boost their numbers.

Never Say Never 3D -  created by Justin Bieber’s official fan club @catchjbfever as featured in last week’s custom campaign of the week. The fan club used the automatic redirect to the movie's own website to increase their traffic there and the customised tweet and status update to get the date of the movie out every time someone added the Twibbon.

Like Dandelion Dust - created by @Bobby_Downes  the producer of the movie based on the novel by Karen Kingsbury.

The creator used the custom auto follow to increase their Twitter followers as you can see from their Twitter follower stats:

Custom Campaign of the Week!

This person has already had huge success worldwide, and that trend appears to be continuing on Twibbon! Justin Bieber’s new film Never Say Never is not even out yet, but the Twibbon created by his official fan club already has 5,600 supporters!

His fan club have made a simple, identifiable Purple Glasses Twibbon to reflect Bieber's new movie, as well as the hashtag #purpleglasses to spread awareness across Twitter. They also promoted the Twibbon on the movie's official website.

The Twibbon was able to generate a lot of activity and engagement from users on Twitter -

Eventually, Justin Bieber himself took to his Facebook page wearing the purple glasses, creating additional hype around the campaign and the Twibbon.

But because this was a Custom Campaign and not just a free one, not only were the fan club able to gather a huge amount of supporters, but they were also able to use the additional features to increase  Justin Bieber's Facebook likes.
