Someone once said a picture is worth a thousand words. If that’s the case, surely a video is worth a fair number of tweets? We think so anyway.

In addition to offering you that 140-character support we love to give, we’ve dug around to locate a couple of classic Twibbon tutorial videos. One clearly runs you through how to remove your Twibbon, while another is in Brazilian (to be honest, we're not sure of what she’s saying – we just like her accent!):

Here, you can get the lowdown on reverting and removing your Twibbon:

Prolific Twitter user @rosana tells us about the Twibbon service and, more importantly, Hello Kitty, in Brazilian:

So, whether your friends are seasoned social media gurus or don’t know their avatar from their retweet, everyone can learn a bit more from this helpful info.

Hope you enjoy, let us know of any more videos you upload about Twibbon at team@twibbon.com.

I'm A Celebrity...Get Me A Twibbon

Strewth! We’ve gone and teamed up with ITV once again to put together the official Twibbon destination for ‘I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here’.

Twelve brave celebs have gone down under to the Australian bush, where instead of their luxurious lifestyles they face creepy crawlies and terrifying physical tasks. You can check out all the top highlights so far here and follow the action on Twitter @imacelebrity. The customised destination is fully branded and has all 12 Celeb Twibbons on one page! Click on the header to be taken back to the ITV website, where you can see loads more content.

Meanwhile, you can pick who you’re backing to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle with the official I’m A Celebrity Twibbons. Do you reckon Kim can possibly survive to the end without cleaning the Celebs’ camp? Or will Jimmy White pot black and be named champion? Let everyone know. If you haven’t got a fave Celebrity yet, no problem - you can still show that you’re simply enjoying the show on Facebook and Twitter.

As you can see, we’ve spiced up the Twibbons with some eight-legged pals, so that, like your favourite Celebrities, you too can have spiders stuck to your face!

Oh, and one more thing: Remember to use the hashtag #imacelebrity when you’re talking about the show online, so we can all follow the conversation and get it trending!

Like what you see? Drop us an email, team@twibbon.com, and see what Twibbon can do for you on Twitter and Facebook.

22,000 wear online poppies on Armistice Day #2minutesilence

Over recent weeks, 22,000 internet users have worn an online Poppy Twibbon to show their respect and gratitude to those who are serving or have served in the British Armed Forces. The Poppy Appeal is organised by the Royal British Legion, which safeguards the welfare, interests and memory of these brave soldiers.

Today, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, there will be a nationwide two minute silence, to remember the end of the First World War, and those who have given their lives then and since.

The hastag ‘#2minutesilence’ has trended on Twitter as a result, and, hopefully, many on the social networking site will partake in an online silence as a mark of respect.

While wearing a Poppy Twibbon is a great way to drive awareness of the cause, you can donate directly to The Royal British Legion, whose charitable work helps ex-soldiers and their families. You can also volunteer your time to help this important cause.

Those who have supported the campaign online include Sarah Brown, Jamie Oliver, Philip Schofield, Jonathan Ross, Boris Johnson, Katherine Jenkins, Will Carling, Alastair Campbell and Jonathan ‘Aggers’ Agnew.

Get your poppy Twibbon here on Twitter and Facebook, and please take part in the #2minutesilence at 11:00 GMT and pause for reflection and remembrance.

Jedward: Online community divided by Twins' performances

Controversy rocked the UK’s top talent show last night as judge Simon Cowell took The X Factor to a tiebreaking public vote to decide who should leave the competition. The resulting vote saw soulful Welsh singer Lucie Jones ejected from the programme in favour of entertaining identical twins John and Edward, collectively abbreviated to Jedward by the mainstream media.

Cowell had an opportunity to keep Lucie in the competition after fellow mentors Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole had elected to vote against the twins, but the judge had no qualms about letting the public determine who went home this week. You can relive that heart-wrenching decision here.

The move was labelled as hypocritical by some in the press; Cowell had conversely expressed on a previous show, “The fact is it's a singing competition, and they can't sing.” He justified his decision by claiming that neither act “could win the show”.

Despite their lacking vocal ability, John and Edward are undeniably entertaining: after donning Britney Spears style red jumpsuits a week ago for a rendition of “Oops! I Did It Again”, Saturday’s performance saw yet another outrageous costume selection as they rocked out to the Ghostbusters theme tune dressed as everybody’s favourite slime-fighting heroes.

The vitriolic response of many fans of the show has been matched by an equally phenomenal display of support from the online community. Here’s a selection of Tweets reflecting this conflicting opinion:

joooom @emmmoi jedward forever is all i'm saying.

ciarahinton Seriously, this #Jedward thing isn't that much of a big deal. Lucie is boring, and they're not. Evidently entertainment wins over talent

Jerseymac0000 Jedward - Irelands answer to the Chuckle Brothers !!!!!

London2110 @Mands_xoxo @wenh I am so shocked that Simon thought Jedward was better than Lucie

You can show your support for Jedward here on Twitter or Facebook with a Twibbon or, alternatively, if you want to protest the decision, show your allegiance to any other contestant on our official X Factor Twibbon Destination.

Will the brothers be able to survive another week? Who do you think will fall next at the hands of the so-called “terrible twins”? Let us know below!
