Amazing: 70,000 Supporters for Breast Cancer
Quite simply, Wow. Here at Twibbon Towers, we have been blown away by the online community’s fantastic response to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For a while now, Twibbon has gone positively pink with all kinds of designs being created in support of this hugely important cause.
In total, more than 70,000 Twitter and Facebook users are wearing these Twibbons. The most popular, Breast Cancer Research eclipses previous Twibbon records by more than 10,000 supporters and was made by Twitter user @youcantrewind.
Some other amazing statistics:
- In just one hour 1,356 web users wore a Twibbon in support of Breast Cancer.
- In total, the pink ribbon was exposed to over 13,000,000 users.
Star Factor
We had Hollywood Stars in our eyes as celebrity after celebrity joined the cause, with the likes of wild thing Denise Richards, pop princess Jordin Sparks and football legend Larry Fitzgerald uniting behind the iconic pink ribbon.
